August Wrap-Up

My birthday month is over...which is sad because it means I've completed another turn around the sun.

It's been a very busy month on all fronts and a hot one too. I've had both kids home for the summer holidays so the priority has been on having fun with them and fitting in work as and when I could. It being the last summer before my sweet girl starts school, I just wanted to make the most of spending time with them and enjoying her before time starts flashing before my eyes.

It has mean that less progress has been made on writing but I'd already set my expectations low before I came into August and with two major events to run I knew time and energy would be limited.

That being said, I managed to read a lot of books (for me), watch a lot of shows and I even made it to the theatre and the cinema!

Here's my august wrap up.
